We visited the Toby Carvery for a mid-week meal. The food was decent, and the venue is spacious, but we had a large group of ten who were slightly crammed into a side room.

Our waitress was polite but perhaps a touch inattentive, we had to seek her out to remind her about orders and ended up waiting a long time for food and drinks to arrive.

Overall, not a bad experience, but distinctly average.

This carvery, bed and breakfast and pub creates a relaxing environment. It serves a nice pint and has great customer service too.

The lounge area is one most come to talk rather than watch anything on TV or gather for sporting events. The best thing about the Bradford Arms though are the carveries. The amount of times I plan to go for a drink only for the drinking plan to transition into one consisting of chicken, beef and gammon.

I prefer the relaxing atmosphere in the Bradford opposed to the local competitors noisy pubs , I often assume I am aging before my time but then as I glare around the surroundings I notice a mixture of ages, many young and old regulars which keeps me comforted by the fact that it's nothing to do with age but just something about the layout, service and drink in the Bradford Arms, that makes you want to sit in the lounge or in the back garden as well as take them up on their carveries.
